Mark your calendars! March 6th, 2010 is the date of this year’s Laurelhurst Auction and Party. The theme is Imagine the Future so “come as you might be” in your best futuristic and sci-fi attire. This year’s Auction will be held at the Bison Building in Northeast Portland.
The auction promises to have many of the same favorites returning from previous years! From the Sauvie Island Dinner at the Blue Heron Herb Farm to the Second Annual Laurelhurst Block Party, come and bid on everything from beautiful children’s artwork to a Walla Walla Wine Country Weekend for Two … and support Laurelhurst teachers!

Went and saw the building inside last night! It is truly amazing a beautiful piece of old Portland’s history of industry. AWOL dance was using it as a practice space and we got to see some trapeze routines being done. In addition, CRAVE, a women centric marketing show is being held there sometime in the next several days. Their event is a similar setup to an auction so we can see how an event arranges and fills the space. Imagine the future!
