Laurelhurst School Foundation

You should have received a letter from Laurelhurst Principal, Dawn Corliss this week that makes a direct appeal to Laurelhurst families to donate financially to the Foundation. Funds raised by the Foundation go directly to hiring additional teachers and valued language and arts programs that greatly enrich our children’ lives.

Principal Corliss has set a 2010 fundraising goal of $97,500; enough money to pay for one full-time teacher, after our required 30% equitable contribution to the Portland School Foundation.

If you’d like to make a donation online, please visit ThinkSchools.org and specify “Laurelhurst School” on the payment form. If you prefer to donate with a check, deposit checks in the envelope marked Laurelhurst Foundation located inside the door of each classroom, inside the box in the office, or your child can had the donation directly to their teacher.
